Roasted Red Peppers
Roasted red peppers can add a nice to sweetness to almost any dish. They also happen to be really easy to make. There’s no need to buy store bought when you can prepare them yourself. For one thing, the nutrient content will be higher. You’ll also be saving money and packaging. What you’ll need:
1 red pepper
1 knife
1 broiler
Directions
- Cut the top and bottom off of the pepper. Then cut the pepper vertically in half, and then each half, in half. Filet the lining out, if you must.
- Place under broiler on high for 10-15 minutes. Until the skin is charred.
- Take the peppers out and place them under bowl. You want to trap the moisture in.
- Let them cool 5-7 minutes, or until cool to the touch, and peel the skin off.
- Slice and enjoy!
